Anaheim Public Utilities Evaluates the Ice Bear

Anaheim Public Utilities, in partnership with Ice Energy, LLC, has installed and is evaluating the Ice Bear®TM , an energy storage device for air conditioners, at one of the city’s fire stations. The installation is one of the first of its kind in California. Anaheim Public Utilities was recently awarded a $10,000 grant for the project from the American Public Power Association’s DEED (Demonstration of Energy-Efficient Developments) program.
